On the one hand, the aim was to increase competencies as trainers and, on the other hand, to learn how to approach the association's activities for internationalisation by means of on-site knowledge of the functioning and procedures of an international NGO. The aim was to deepen the European concept of NGOs, their internalisation, their structure and to acquire knowledge about the way they work. For this purpose, a visit to SOS Children's Villages and Concordia, two leading organisations in Vienna, is planned. Julia, one of the trainers, is an active member of SOS Children's Villages. It is also intended to deepen important competencies such as VIsual Thinking, which is why the training will initially take place in Gratz. Afterwards, we will travel to Vienna, where Irene is an expert in Multiple Intelligence and Inclusive Leadership.
Blue Beehive is a non-profit association that carries out non-formal, inclusive training activities and through workshops, we complete the skills that are not fully covered in formal education. Based on the knowledge of the multidisciplinary team that make up the association, it allows us to address ICT, artistic, social workshops. With a preferential local and provincial activity, the projection towards Europe is defined in our statutes. In this context, our first mobilities project aims to train in the functioning of a recognised international NGO and in the procedures to offer better quality in the training we carry out.
