One of IDEA's fundamental objectives is the re-insertion of unemployed people into the labour market using training as a fundamental tool, with this project we seek to complement adult training with European mobilities in companies in order to offer a greater opportunity to students with fewer opportunities, particularly those with low qualifications. Our mission was to improve the quality of training, so that the international experience would have a positive impact on professional skills, but also on personal skills. Thus, we forged a heterogeneous group of adult learners, enrolled in Aula Mentor courses in different professional fields, so that in the execution of the project they would be trained together in languages and competences and skills in new technologies. For our organisation, the project has meant an increase in the quality of the adult education we provide, since the students with low qualifications have had the opportunity to carry out a European mobility, we will be able to exchange ideas and experiences with other European organisations involved in adult education and improve the support to students at risk of social exclusion.
IDEA (Local Development Agency of Alzira Town Council) was created in 1995 with the aim of generating employment and wealth in the city of Alzira (Valencia). Acquiring or increasing knowledge and professional skills throughout life is the objective of the training service, for which we design, develop and implement learning within the reach of citizens. IDEA is since 2012 Aula Mentor, a non-regulated online training programme, flexible and with personalised tutoring, aimed at adults over 18 years of age. Idea Moves Mentor aims to strengthen the educational skills of adult learners without training and generate a greater attractiveness in Aula Mentor training, provided by Idea; we intend to reinforce the knowledge acquired by students, from an international and European vision. These mobilities are an opportunity for Aula Mentor students to acquire skills in new technologies, foreign languages and cultural activities so that they can develop their knowledge in the foreign labour market and reinforce their curriculum with a view to improving their socio-labour insertion.
