The objectives we wanted to achieve have been through the ICT training courses which have a direct REPERCUSSION in the classroom, applying what has been learnt. The training COURSES will contribute to the IMPROVEMENT of the subjects, which leads to an improvement in the overall QUALITY of the departments and the school. With regard to the observation periods, JOBSHADOWING, in a foreign educational centre, helps us to learn the reality of training in these centres, their methodology, their organisation, the socio-cultural and economic context in which they are, and fundamentally the use of new technologies, all of which is an added value for the teacher. Being visiting teachers in this modality also implies a FEEDBACK of other educational systems that will benefit not only our centre, but also the fact of giving a European dimension to our city; these experiences with teachers from foreign schools create links for future collaborations.
The context of our project is the use of new technologies (information and communication technologies) by the teaching staff and students at IES San Sebastián in Huelva. Our school is committed to the use of ICT in the classroom and beyond. Through the Erasmus programme, our teachers have taken training and Jobshadowing courses, always focused on the use of new technologies. In order to disseminate the knowledge acquired during the mobilities, we have organised a large number of activities focused on new technologies.
