Our main objective was to achieve the integration of ALL our students thanks to the participation in Etwinning projects. To achieve this goal, we wanted to eliminate the cliché that etwinning is only for language teachers and start raising awareness about the importance of the Etwinning platform for all areas. It is a way of working and bringing new technologies, languages, arts, sciences, etc... to all of our students, trying to create the same opportunities for everyone. In addition to the integration involved in creating and working with etwinning projects, we also consider it an opportunity for our teachers, it is a way of sharing good practices and building relationships with other European schools, for us it is an advantage for our students and families , who consider our work with etwinning very positive when choosing us as an educational center.
The Oratorio Padre Torres Silva school is a Center Concerted by the Public Administration in which the teachings of Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education are developed. It has 75 years of existence in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, which makes it a benchmark in education in the city due to the educational style of its own Character. The Educational Community is made up of 22 teachers, 2 PAS members and a total of approximately 344 students. It is a benchmark center in the area due to the pedagogical model based on the Preventive System, with very satisfactory results in terms of promotion of students at different educational levels. We are an Etwinning Center during the 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years. We collaborate with the Junta de Andalucía Program "Healthy Habits" and Coralsón has been an important musical event carried out by music teachers until before the pandemic. Being an Etwinning center, our objective was to train the largest number of teachers in the subject, in order to convert etwinning into a work method and integrate it into our daily work.
