The main objectives for " Together for a sustainable Europe" project are: - Enrich the lives of students and school staff with new methodologies, resources and opportunities to become democratic, tolerant and multilingual European citizens. - Promote the development of digital competence. Optimize the use and application of ICTs to enrich the educational project and the general functioning of the school. - Improve environmentally responsible practices. Develop greater environmental awareness and implement sustainable strategies in the educational community through the learning of a collaborative work with other european schools. - To enrich knowledge of Europe and the feeling of identity as European citizens. - Promoting the values of democracy, tolerance and diversity.
The project is set in the field of School Education. The institution: Colexio Plurilingual Guillelme Brown is a private charter school, mixed. It´s an early childhood, primary and secondary school, non denominational, independent, with democratic thinking and principles of the Declaration of Human Rights. The project is proposed as an improvement within the educational project of center driving environmental education and sustainability, new technologies and the improvement of its multilingualism project. The main drivers or developers of the project are the 2nd/3rd year high school students/s in cooperative work with partner schools: Gemeinschaftsschule Rust of Germany and Osnovna skola Strahoninec of Croatia. Both schools share with our school the interest in educational innovation in teaching methods and in the development and fulfilment of common objectives.
