Awareness about the European UnionInclusion, promoting equality and non-discriminationTeaching and learning of foreign languages

Objectives

1.- Intensification of European mobility of teachers and students to provide the center with an international dimension. That all students participate in projects with other countries. 2.- Provide students from households with lower incomes or with a disability with the opportunity to participate in mobility in a foreign country. 3.- Improve the learning of foreign languages, both English and students who study French as a second foreign language. 4.- Continue with the digital transformation to achieve a hybrid teaching/learning system.

Background

In 2016, the center began its ERASMUS+ journey. The very positive response from the participants, both students and teachers, caused interest in starting new projects to increase. Diversity is the essence of our center, due to the great socioeconomic difference that we find and the presence of students with special educational needs. These two characteristics made the project set two priority objectives, promoting the learning of foreign languages (often subject to paid extracurricular activities) and the participation in the project of students with fewer opportunities. For this reason, a short-term mobility was requested in which the students could improve their linguistic skills in their second foreign language (at the same time as implementing the European Language Portfolio in the first year of ESO, in which the four languages studied are included. ) and another in which inclusion assistance was requested thinking about a student with special educational needs who was part of the CIL classroom and who had shown interest in participating. In addition to including digital competence transversally in all the activities programmed in the project.
