Objectives: To promote multilingualism among students and teachers, and encourage the use of different languages in the classroom and in everyday life. To raise awareness about sustainability issues, such as climate change, resource depletion, and pollution, and encourage sustainable practices both at school and in the community. To develop students' intercultural competence and understanding of different cultures and ways of life, particularly in relation to sustainability.
We applied for this project because we wanted to give continuity to what we had already started in 2017: the opening of our insitution to Europe. We want to be able to meet the expectations of the Ministry of creating multilingual centres and for that we need trained teachers, both in theory (through courses) and in practice (jobshadowing). We want to continue learning and adopting new methodologies for our classrooms. Our students are changing and we need to be updated as new challenges are coming. Caring for the planet is an obligation for the world and for Europe, therefore, with our grain of sand we want to contribute to it. We want to learn from the centers that have experience in this matter in order to implement sustainable practices in our center.
