As participants in Erasmus+, our primary goal is to improve our institution through its internationalisation process, creating a network of collaborating centres in various fields throughout Europe that allows us to achieve our proposed objectives. The specific objectives pursued in this project stem from our identified needs and are as follows: 1. Enhance the atmosphere within our educational community and strengthen the involvement of all members in decision-making and the presentation of initiatives. This includes reducing conflicts between students and teachers. 2. Innovate methodologically to achieve greater student motivation towards learning and a reduction in school dropout rates, adapting to the needs of our students, enriching the experience of our teaching staff, and enhancing student outcomes. 3. Promote diversity, sustainability, and active European citizenship by fostering a welcoming environment and a participatory educational community. This will be achieved through student participation methods such as the European Voluntary Service, student associations, and other projects where students play a crucial role.
"IES El Rincón" is committed to internationalisation since the early days of the first European mobility programs, participating in collaboration and mobility projects aimed at students and teachers both within our school division and in vocational training studies (in programs such as Comenius, Grundtvig, Erasmus, Erasmus+, and etwinning). European mobilities have been a fundamental pillar at our centre, and this has been demonstrated by the improvement of personal and professional expectations of our students and faculty. Therefore, in recent years, our school has outlined an international strategy that views Europe as the context for its international projection, and in particular, the Erasmus+ program as the framework for our projects targeting both teachers and students. Within the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program, we are an accredited centre in the KA120VET program, having also renewed our ECHE charter. This project has represented our first step in the field of school education in this new call. Throughout its development, we have obtained the KA120SCH accreditation, further strengthening our presence and commitment in the international educational sphere.
