Objectives

Given the above context, we have tried to alleviate this situation of little openness of our center to promote greater internationalization of the establishment, that languages are promoted more, that you learn to work with other teachers and young Europeans and ultimately that in our center "you have more with Europe" and "you feel more belonging to European". To develop these objectives we reflected with an educational center in Nantes (France) and another in Osimo (Italy) and we thought it would be interesting to work together teachers and students in a project where they could improve healthy habits, the promotion of physical activity and well-being that is also promulgated by the European Union. We therefore hoped to achieve the following objectives: * Create links and links of communication and work with other Europeans, teachers, students and families * Internationalization of the center and improvement in language practice * Reinforcement of themes around well-being * Development of other educational methods using new technologies by sometimes working remotely * Greater knowledge about European culture and what it means to be a European citizen.

Background

Our organization is a secondary school on the outskirts of Albacete, in Castilla La Mancha. It teaches ESO, baccalaureate and FP of intermediate and higher degree of commerce and administration. We work on it 105 teachers with a management team of 7 people. The OLYMPICOS PLUS project has been developed in the field of school education with students of 4th ESO and Baccalaureate. Our students come from families of medium-low economic level and in some cases low (several students from immigration (Senegal, Morocco, a refugee student from Syria, a refugee student from Ukraine, etc...). * In general, students do not feel motivated to achieve good results that allow them to later develop higher education or achieve a good level in languages. * Most study only English although our region offers the possibility of learning a second language. * For economic reasons and also for family cultural tradition (lack of interest in what comes from outside Spain) students have not been able to know other countries or have had the opportunity to live with other European citizens, so there is no good European awareness in them.
