To make EDUCATIONAL MOBILITY A REAL POSSIBILITY FOR ALL by offering educational and personal opportunities to high school students, especially to those with fewer possibilities. 2.TO PROMOTE PLURILINGUALISM, through the mobilization of different European languages. 3.PROMOTE THE CULTURAL AND HERITAGE KNOWLEDGE OF EUROPE AND ITS SUSTAINABLE CONSERVATION, allows students to know the culture and heritage of the places they visit, learn to value and respect them from a sustainable point of view. INTERNATIONALIZATION: Contact and share experiences with other European centers. 5.IMPROVE THE USE OF ICTs: to generalize the use of ICTs at all levels of educational activity, as an aid in the training of students. The aim was to develop students' linguistic competence, to train them as citizens of Europe as a great group of nations united in sustainable development and a common future, to incorporate ICTs as a methodological resource and source of information, to develop the competence of 'learning to learn' and lifelong learning and to foster interest in Europe as a destination for their academic and professional future.
The IES VIRGEN DE LA CALLE is a public high school, located in an expanding suburban neighborhood, with students from families with a medium-low socio-cultural level and 50% of students from rural areas. The center offers several courses: ESO with bilingual section in English, Bachillerato and 10 Formative Cycles. The students in the scope of this application are students in the 1st year of high school (16/17 years old). They are students with diverse academic interests, since they belong to the three modalities of Bachillerato and they are united by a special motivation for the learning of languages. They are students committed to their education who come from families of a medium-low socio-economic level and lack the economic resources to complete their language training abroad. Most of them receive a scholarship for transportation, books and study assistance. The center has 2 years of experience in these learning programs. One of the center's work cores is the internationalization and training of students to take on the European challenges from an inclusive, multilingual and multicultural perspective, which allows them to grow as critical and responsible citizens.
