In recent years, the problems of young people have changed and the educational community must prepare and learn to be able to address and help in this process. Both our centre and the Via Maffi school are centres where ICT is part of the daily life of students and it is our obligation to teach them their proper use. We have worked to achieve a good use of social networks, the acceptance of oneself and others; for this you must ensure that they know the diversity of existing people and accept their inclusion in a natural way (whether by race, religion, sexual orientation, ACNEE, etc.). In addition, we were very concerned about the harassment and cyber-harassment that has been occurring these years, so we need to raise awareness among adolescents of the seriousness of this and the management of a possible case of bullying. Finally, we want to raise awareness of the importance of preserving and caring for our planet, since we are not aware of the great damage we are causing it. Sensitising, raising awareness, reporting, etc. we can get sensitive people who know their environment and who want to take care of it.These objectives are closely linked to our centre and the current situation both in Spain and in other countries.
Our project is encompassed in #invulnerable, which includes 5 goals that have been achieved in our school with the participation of all the students of ESO. This has been done through the mobility with the Roman school. The project first arised due to our increasing concern about several matters that affect teenagers, such as the use of social networks, the non-self-acceptance, inclusion and identity. These are main goals, which can be approached through social networks. Fighting against bullying and cyber-bullying inside the classroom is crucial, and it is highly related to the use of social networks. All these objectives have a strong bond and we would like to know the way they are managed in other countries. Thus, we will be able to face it on a daily basis, since we feel that one of the big problems in our current society is the fact that the population does not have enough information and are not able to manage these kind of problems with young people. Another goal is to make students aware about the environment, which is a current topic that makes us wonder about our contribution to the environmental and energetic crisis that we are facing. This is a global concern that must be worked at school and in the mobilities.
