To date, we have collaborated and worked on different Comenius and/or Erasmus+ projects, both key actions 1 and 2, projects that have always placed our students at the center of the process. The fact of working on these projects has greatly enriched learning, the teachers' ways of teaching, as well as sensitivity to other cultures, the exchange of experiences, and the construction of a European character in the center. But likewise, it is also true that we have not had the opportunity to work on a project exclusively focused on teachers that promotes European interculturality, improves our linguistic competence and opens fields of vision in order to develop new methodologies in the classroom and use of the TIC. In the first place, we have been able to verify, through participation in previous European projects, that the connection created with our European partners increases the cultural sensitivity of teachers, as well as their interest in communication in other languages and the feeling of European awareness in consonance With the strategic priorities of the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027), this project also aims to involve teachers in observational practice
IES Azuer is a Secondary School located in Manzanares (Ciudad Real). It was founded in 1976. We currently have approximately 90 people among the teaching staff, and our student body exceeds 800 students. Most of the students live in our town, although we also have a small part that comes from nearby towns, as well as students who come specifically to study our professional training cycles. The institute offers a wide range of studies, from SECONDARY SCHOOL to Bachelor, basic FP (vocational training) as well as intermediate and higher education grade training cycles (the latter in the morning and afternoon). Among the programs that we have is the Bilingual Program of the center, which allows students to study subjects such as Science, Physical Education, or History in English. We also have our own teacher training program, where the teachers themselves train their classmates
