Background

Fuentenueva School is located in Gonzalo Gallas Street, a central district of Granada. It has a privileged location next to the University of Sciences of Granada. The transfer of the scientific community of students and teachers, both Spanish and foreign, permeates the air of our school with a thirst for knowledge and a need for internationalization. It is a public and multilingual school where, in addition to Spanish language and literature, English, French and Mandarin Chinese have been requested. Scientific knowledge, languages and cooperative and community learning are a reference of our educational project and, in an efficient way, provide students with a very valuable communicative approach that requires programs such as the one we are requesting for their development. Other programs that will benefit from the approval of this application are our program "school space of peace" and "equality plan". We have 453 students from 3 to 12 years old and more than 50 professionals, including teachers and qualified personnel. Our population is deeply rooted in our environment and its socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds are diverse, finding students of 13 different nationalities.
