1 Promote the mobility of students with a higher degree of dependency due to functional diversity. This objective is the heart of the project. It is directly linked to the name ALL MEANS ALL. The challenge is to carry out the designed activities with the three centers (Vipava, Slovenia; Vienna, Austria; and Helsinki, Finland), involving in each mobility two students with functional diversity, as usual, but adding two more students with greater assistance needs due to mobility, healthcare, personal autonomy, accommodation adaptation, etc. 2 Identify our strengths and weaknesses in adapted transportation, using our travel experiences as a diagnosis of different countries, regions, cities, and surroundings. 3 Exchange good educational practices among schools, especially in the realm of sensory activities and augmentative and alternative communication systems.
As an Educational Institution, we have the commitment to become a tool for social transformation and to make all our students, especially those who pose a challenge in terms of inclusion and mobility due to their functional diversity, visible and active members of our society. The proposal represents a challenge to carry out mobilities with students with special needs who do not usually have the opportunity to participate in these programs, requiring companions and specific logistics for transfers, trips, and stays. Likewise, the proposed mobilities will contribute to the creation of a network of professionals, including educators, healthcare providers, caregivers, or families, that will enable the exchange of good practices. The project is focused on the social inclusion of students with special educational needs, the exchange of experiences and best practices in this field, the use of adapted learning tools, and the strengthening of profiles of professionals who cater to this type of students.
