The objectives we hoped to achieve were: - To develop and/or increase the European feeling, among pupils and families and all school community. - To work on the objectives of the 2030 agenda, highlighting gender equality, sustainability through the circular economy and the reduction of inequalities. - Promoting equal opportunities for students and higher education studies, as well as beyond our borders. - Digitalisation of teaching practice. - Basic concepts acquisition related to European heritage, art and culture.
Our school needs this kind of programmes to motivate and involve our students in fields like humanities, make them feel curious about science and create a feeling of belonging to Europe. The drop-out rate and the lack of motivation to continue their higher education make our school design and apply forr this type of programmes because we need to foster inclusion of some of the students who have less opportunities to study abroad, to open their minds and to find the motivation to continue their studies. Giving them this European feeling through the proposed themes makes them acquire a basicgeneral culture to favour their development as a European citizen and future worker. In our school there are students who drop out of school at an early age due to lack of motivation and family support, so we believe that involving them in this type of programme favours their inclusion both in the school and in their academic and social future.
