With the Boost your Career opportunities project we wanted to: 1)Improve key competencies by learning a foreign language and culture 2) Enhance soft skills: *Initiative and Entrepreneurship - *Resilience, Adaptability and Flexibility. * Effort and motivation- 3) Improve teaching methodologies with new training experiences 4) Maintain continuity course after course of quality international mobility in Vocational Training and equalize opportunities with the CFGS 5) Learning specific quality technical skills in teachers with teaching practice and in students with their first work experience 6) Acquisition of a versatile professional profile, improving the possibilities of finding a job and the progress of the students 7) Expand our Erasmus network with the contact of homologous colleges and the contact of new companies Improving in these aspects will improve our two main objectives, which are to improve the educational quality of our college and to reinforce the opportunities for students to obtain quality employment.
Ilerna is an integrated professional Vocational college with 60 years of experience in the sector, it has 900 students and 80 teachers. Its intermediate grade cycles - Ciclos formativos de grado medio - are: Nursing Auxiliary Care, Microcomputer and network systems, DJ video and sound, Administrative management and Soccer technician. The Boost your career opportunities project was born from the need to improve the employability of its students, with an open, inclusive, European and green vision and to improve the quality of the center and the FP with the use of new dynamic methodologies adapted to the needs of current companies. All of this will improve the quality of the center and increase the possibilities of finding a job, making their curriculum more attractive to companies. This project prioritizes the inclusion of all students and it also seeks for a fair and equitable selection systems. Ilerna has an internal structure to be able to do so through the Project Work Team-ETP- and the support of the management team. Some of the students are minors , with learning problems, insecurities and immaturity and participating in a European project makes them able to make a very important qualitative leap
