In addition, the curricular and transversal activities listed in the following section have contributed to the achievement of this objective. - Encourage the use of the language of the target country. Background

The aim of this project is for students to carry out work placements in EU companies. IES Pablo Neruda is a Secondary Education centre that teaches ESO, Baccalaureate and Training Cycles (Intermediate, Higher, FPB and PPE) and is adapted to students with motor and intellectual disabilities, being a reference in the area. We are involved in several projects: Sustainable Schools, Learning and Service on responsible consumption with the Faculty of Advertising of the UCM, Refuerza Programme, Erasmus Projects for VET and School since the 2011-2012 academic year, Collaboration Agreement with CEU San Pablo for VET students with functional diversity, ACCEDE Programme, Inclusive Sport, School Exchanges, PRACTICUM, Educational Innovation and Digitalisation Project, Research Baccalaureate, Project for the promotion of STEM and Entrepreneurship Classrooms. The students come from a middle and lower-middle class neighbourhood of Leganés (Madrid), without a large foreign population, they are quiet and well educated, with an interest in studying and improving their professional horizons. With our project we aim to project our students outwards and provide them with more opportunities.
