Improve the internationalisation of the institution, both students and staff, and deepen collaboration with new and existing partners. In such a way that students and staff improve their skills and abilities for greater mental health and wellbeing, with space and participation for all, developing in a more inclusive culture, attentive to ecological and social challenges collectively. The Erasmus+ programme helps VIU to promote collaborations with other higher education institutions. Currently VIU is the coordinator of a strategic alliance with nine other European universities (Qn - European University for Quality, Quintuple Helix and Query-driven Educational Ecosystems). In this new Erasmus+ phase, inter-institutional agreements are being extended to non-partner third countries in Europe, Latin America and Africa. The Erasmus+ programme facilitates the reception at VIU of students, teachers and staff in training from other universities, and it is now common for the entire VIU community to share classrooms or work spaces, physical or virtual, with people from other countries received through the Erasmus+ programme.
