The Catholic University of Avila is a private university which, through the Erasmus programme, seeks to provide a learning and teaching experience that includes an international dimension. The Erasmus programme is a central part of our strategy because we know that academic excellence requires a firm commitment to internationalisation. In this sense, we consider our participation in Erasmus as a great opportunity. Therefore, our main objective at the start of each project is to further promote the mobility of all our students and staff, as well as to establish new institutional contacts and strengthen existing ones. When we started the 2021 project, no one thought that we would be facing such a global pandemic and that we would be suffering the consequences of such a pandemic in the following years. This would make it difficult to properly implement the programme, not just in the year of the pandemic.
