The main objective of this project was to become one of the key tools for developing the internationalisation strategy of the University of Cantabria (UC), making it possible to articulate a wide range of types of mobility for the university community, covering all its centres, degrees and levels. It was also intended to promote the reception and integration of students and staff from partner universities, contributing to the internationalisation process of the campus. The project has been used to facilitate the acquisition of multicultural and global competences, both for students and staff, as well as to further develop processes of continuous improvement in the quality of the management, results and the impact of the mobilities carried out within its framework. Its objective has also been to consolidate the role of the UC at a global level through the reinforcement of relations with a large number of universities and the European Alliance EUNICE. At a regional level, it aimed at collaborating with local and autonomous community entities and organisations in activities related to the actions of the project in order to achieve a multiplying effect of its impact and to increase its visibility in the general population.
