This project is part of the direction that the Institut Escola del Treball de Barcelona (EdT) has adopted in recent years, focused on internationalization. Its main objective is to reduce the school dropout rate and promote equal opportunities. In addition, it seeks to train students in a foreign language, as well as in social skills, adaptation and problem solving. The actions to achieve these objectives are implemented by the International Mobility Programs team, supervised by the director of the institute. This team, made up of the Head of Studies, the Mobility Coordinator and, currently, five teachers in charge of support, management and dissemination tasks. For our students, the project has allowed us to: Experiment in the European business context to acquire professional experience. Develop transversal skills identified by the European Commission. Promote critical awareness through activities that promote intercultural dialogue. Improve job placement upon completion of their studies. Strengthen self-esteem and confidence through international experiences. Despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19, 10 student and 2 teacher mobilities were requested.
