Our institution, after more than a decade participating in European projects, wants to continue with its internationalization. To make full use of the potential of education and culture as a driver for job creation, social justice and active citizenship, as well as a means of living European identity in all its diversity. HEIs are necessary to provide another way of being and doing, in a globalized world such as the current one, in constant labor and social change. It also needs to be brought into line with other European education courses and with the business and social demand that is required. In this sense, our institution's main objective is to transcend the limitations of living in an archipelago and being an outermost region, promoting opportunities for learning, training, cooperation and communication between our students, teachers and the European business world. Therefore, the goal is to continue with the development of the internationalization of the institute, supporting actions beyond the local, in an open and flexible environment. The aim of this project was to achieve the objectives that our centre has set out in the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.
