The Lacetània is an institution located in an industrialised area near the metropolitan area of Barcelona, allowing us to welcome students from diverse social backgrounds, generally from lower-middle-class families. In this context, the centre is committed to promoting the development of the region by offering a wide range of vocational training cycles, both at the intermediate and advanced levels, with the aim of boosting the education and employability of our students. In terms of general objectives, we have set out to enhance the employability of participants in Erasmus mobilities, promote student training, and achieve the graduation of Vocational Education and Training (VET) students by providing scholarships that enable them to complete their training abroad. Additionally, we seek to establish meaningful connections between our institution and other organizations. Regarding specific objectives, our focus is on improving skills such as adaptability, responsibility, and communication, as well as raising language proficiency levels, especially in English. We also strive to bring the students closer to the reality of the job market by providing them with more opportunities for the future.
