The promotion of mobilities, both among students and staff, is essential for the internationalization of our institution to be aligned, since it is a fundamental pillar in the increase of the quality of teaching, the final objective of all the actions that we carry out. For years we are implicated in European projects, and we are more and more convinced that this is the path to follow. The values that one single mobility would bring are reason enough to make our effort worth it. Therefore, we are absolutely determined to encourage as many mobilities as possible both among our students and our staff. Furthermore, we aimed to find a good balance between the four different types of mobility, also giving the opportunity to our recent graduates to participate in SMP. We consider that they are an excellent first step towards employability, which is another ultimate objective of any higher musical education process. Have we achieved it in this 2021 Project? Honestly, we do think so. Although the final number of participants (39) has been lower than that of project 2020 (58), it must be taken into account that the execution period has been only two years, three years from the previous one, which means that the rate is quite similar.
