Mainly we hoped to offer our students the opportunity to live a great experience that enriches them and makes them grow personally and professionally, it must be taken into account that, for the most part, they come from families with limited economic resources and that the Erasmus+ Scholarships are the only opportunity they have to leave the island territory and get closer to Europe and help them overcome that feeling of insularity that exists in the Canary Islands, due to our distance from the rest of Europe. All this without forgetting that our project has objectives declared in the ECHE. The main objective is the recognition of the existence of gender stereotypes and the need to transcend them. In such a way that gender equality is used as an agent of change within educational practices, beyond its simply theoretical. Although schools have been working with egalitarian laws for a long time, the truth is that implementation is stubborn, and optimal levels of equality have not yet been achieved in all social areas. With this motivation, this project was launched in our school.
