The project has been carried out with the aim of providing students in Higher Vocational Training cycles offered at the center—Automotive Technology, Aircraft Maintenance, and Avionics Maintenance—the opportunity to complete the Work Placement Training module (FCT) in companies located in European countries such as Germany, Belgium, and Slovenia. This module is part of the curriculum for these vocational training cycles and has a duration of 380 hours. The center has been managing European projects since 2009, the year we obtained the ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education). Since then, we have overseen more than 100 mobilities for Higher Vocational Training students. Our main objectives have included enhancing language skills, promoting the international dimension of the center, increasing the use of information and communication technologies, improving document management, enhancing the employability of our students, developing a common framework for collaboration with counterpart institutions from different countries, and fostering the transnational exchange of knowledge, experiences, and teaching-learning methods.
