Background: For the University of Extremadura (UEx), internationalization is one of the pillars on which its development and modernization is based. Participating in mobility projects that strengthen this process is a priority established in its Strategic Plan. Erasmus is the great success story of European politics and the EUx has been part of those 36 years of history. This experience has allowed to foster a network of connections and gain the necessary experience to lead the European Alliance (within the framework of European Universities), which is currently the roadmap that will mark the international strategy of the UEx. Objectives: 1. To generate international education opportunities for the academic community. 2. Increasing the international value in academic systems and syllabuses 3. To bring together different educational and social realities in order to identify projects that improve educational systems and, consequiently, the future and projection of the university community. 4. Improving teacher capacity by increasing its international dimension. 5. Training specialised talent to improve the employability rates of graduates 6. Modernizing management systems, by sharing good practices
