Our school is a centre for Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training (Basic, Intermediate and Higher Level) located in a town of 2,000 inhabitants, in the interior of the province of Castelló, where students from other municipalities of the region with smaller population come. It is a rural area with signs of ageing and where there are few opportunities for trips for students and staff to develop their academic, cultural and personal skills. For this reason, since 2014, we have been committed to carrying out Etwinning projects and Erasmus+ mobilities in order to motivate our students and staff to improve their professional skills, broaden their knowledge of other European countries, establish networks with other schools with similar characteristics to ours, and disseminate the knowledge acquired. We have also participated in the reception of teachers and students from other European schools in the development of Erasmus projects. On the other hand, we also aim to disseminate among the school community and the general population a vision of Europe as a symbol of job opportunities and personal development.
