Objectives

With the implementation of the F02H project, the partnership was determined to create an informal, accessible and open training platform for everyone. That platform would provide the fundamentals of skills, knowledge, strategies and tools to be able to start an activity based on Digital Entrepreneurship. One important aspect pivoting around the concept of the platform is that it should be easily accessible, meaning not only in compliance with the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) / W3C but also meaning that it should help and simplify to the maximum the way people could access it: from a distant rural area (slower internet connections), while commuting, with simply a smartphone, etc.

Background

The From zero to HERO (F02H) project was born as a response to the need to promote Digital Entrepreneurship among the entire population, especially among those with a higher risk of exclusion or limited by their socioeconomic situation. Technology advances at a faster speed than the ability of most of the citizens to acquire the skills to master it. For this reason, it was necessary to create a simple, accessible (web and/or mobile application) and effective method of informal training. In this sense, F02H aims to make available to everyone those basic knowledge and tools that can allow anyone to start their own Digital Enterprise. Given the increasing availability and affordability of technologies and tools, the F02H project was carried out taking into consideration those with fewer resources or in a situation of vulnerability or exclusion, including free and open-source resources and itineraries to start their activities. The project has developed a learning platform that offers training at any time, remotely and with completely free access to these fundamental knowledge and tools, offering an opportunity for growth, integration, employability and change.
