EducArts! seeks to design and implement Educational Labs so that, through Arts and Culture, they allow to recreate Co-learning spaces that encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences that promote the creation of narratives around human rights and European shared values, thus strengthening democratic participation. EducArts! trains the adult educators who will guide the co-learning process, also creating learning tools to support learners.
EducArts! has been raised as a further step initiated by LA CULTORA based on "Art and Culture for Human Rights", project which in turn arises from its collaboration with the Master's Degree on Human Rights and Public Policies of the National University of Distance Education. So, EducArts! takes advantage of the documentary series produced by them in order to spread and test an adult education method based on storytelling, aimed at awareness in human rights and common European values, so seeking to encourage citizen and democratic participation. Meanwhile, SAPERE AUDE awakes interest in politics and society through adult education, training empathy and the capacity for reflection among citizens. With EducArts!, this NGO incorporates new pedagogical methods of access to non-formal political education, seaking to reach the new generations, specially those at risk of exclusion, in a more attractive way. Finally, CONTEXTOS, which already actively supports the youth community being involved in the European Solidarity Corps, can offers innovative ways of lifelong learning linked to social cohesion and values' education. The whole partnership is thus strongly motivated to spread and exploit the results achieved by EducArts!
