Background

At this educational center we were clear that we wanted to participate with our students in an Erasmus+ project that was interdisciplinary and that worked on environmental issues globally and internationally. The opportunity for our students to see the magnitudes that the effects that human beings are having on this planet are reaching today seemed very interesting to us and a project that would make our students grow a lot as part of this society. We also saw as a fundamental part of the personal and professional growth of students that they integrate and work together with another culture, other people who use a different language, who live in a different socioeconomic situation, even if they have a different religion, but who share the same problem as all other human beings on the planet, climate change and the effects that humans are creating on it. We wanted it to be a project full of activities, a project in which the student was the protagonist of his growth and that awakened in him a flame that managed to remain active throughout his life. In addition, we were clear that it was the best way to test their social skills.
