The project aimed to empower women with disabilities by enhancing their digital entrepreneurship skills, promoting their economic independence and societal inclusion. Objectives included developing tailored educational materials, facilitating accessible learning environments, and fostering a supportive community for shared growth and empowerment. The initiative sought to address the digital divide, ensuring participants could leverage technology for entrepreneurship, thereby contributing to a more inclusive digital economy and society.
The "Wonder Women Works" project was initiated to address the underrepresentation and barriers faced by women with disabilities in the digital entrepreneurship sphere. This endeavour aimed to equip them with necessary digital and entrepreneurial skills, fostering an environment where they could thrive independently and contribute economically. By focusing on tailored training and support, the project sought to dismantle the social and technical obstacles that hinder their full participation in the digital economy. Through workshops, LTTAs, and hands-on activities, it aimed to not only improve their skill sets but also boost their confidence, ensuring they have equal opportunities to succeed in the entrepreneurial world. This project represented a commitment to inclusivity, equality, and empowerment, aligning with broader objectives of reducing the digital divide and promoting accessible education and employment opportunities for all, especially for those at the margins of society.
