The objectives of this project can be summarised as follows: 1) to design and implement a training programme that includes different training modules aimed at practising professionals in the field of early childhood care and at graduates and future graduates of degrees related to childcare and degrees related to engineering applied to disability and bioengineering. 2) to design and develop a virtual learning classroom in which both training modules and virtual laboratories are implemented. 3. design and develop a virtual learning environment including virtual laboratories for the implementation of practical activities related to the application of the theoretical contents addressed in the training modules. The training modules and virtual laboratories are available in the four languages of the project (Spanish, English, Italian and Croatian) on the project website https://www2.ubu.es/eearlycare_t/es/resultados and through the VLE after logging in. All of this is accessible to the general public in free open access. In addition, 4 e-books have been produced in Spanish and English, Training Modules https://bit.ly/3WOGhFZ and Virtual Labs Manual https://bit.ly/3Mezgcs.
This project was requested to address a need regarding the training update of early care professionals working with children aged 0-6 years as well as recent graduates. Specifically, the update has focused on the use of digital resources and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques applied to the field of early care. The development of the project has been carried out according to the terms foreseen in the report. Specifically, the two results have been produced in the terms foreseen (R1 and R2). In addition, two books have been produced and published by the University of Burgos in free open access. Therefore, it can be affirmed that all these needs have been addressed and responded to, as can be seen in the production of the results applied in the VLE, in the publications and on the project's website.
