Background

“WAFLE” was a collaborative project of 4 partners. The project is requested to work with the students of the participating countries with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) planned for 2030, more specifically with SDG No.6 “ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all". One of the main problems of the 21st century is the sustainability of existing water resources that have no alternative and the supply of water in sufficient quantity and quality. The amount of water currently available faces many dangers. Although the vast majority of the world is covered with water, inadequate drinking water resources, climate changes, increasing global population, misuse of water resources and lack of appropriate and preventive policies regarding water use . have made water management a major problem. The study of the SDGs is included in the current study plans. Therefore, educating on how to reduce our water footprint and increase water literacy standards will benefit our environment and has been the purpose of this work.
