Why are there a series of games predetermined to the sex of the baby since we are born? Why is the role of men and women in housework or in the family itself marked generationally based on sex? What factor really determines access to a job with "similar" qualities regardless of the person's sex? How is the LGTBI collective integrated into a society and what role does it play in it? Can a society with a real gender balance be more civic, productive and fair? Is the real introduction of women in all professional families and their different jobs a reality of improvement in business production and quality? In many cases, when we talk about gender equality, we relate it to "gender violence", misunderstanding the concept of balance and taking it to a context of physical inequality without going any further. However, gender equality has various fields (physical, psychological, work, social, etc.) that must be treated with the same importance to understand the differences currently existing between men and women. Thus, gender equity is defined as: the defense of the equality of men and women in the control and use of society's goods and services. Having explained the concept of gender equity, we can talk about the problems generated by gender inequality. Since the beginning of societies, almost all of them established the notion that men were the strongest and most capable of all genders, as well as that women should be relegated only to the responsibility of domestic tasks. Incredibly, this dynamic was maintained under these same conditions without being mutated or changed until the beginning of the 20th century, perhaps the most revolutionary century for women. However, with the passage of time, the idea of women's inferior abilities was refuted by the advancement in knowledge; It was demonstrated and verified that, although there are differences between men and women, these do not imply an inferiority of capacities, but rather that gender is not a determinant of the efficiency or effectiveness of people in the various spheres of social, political, family and work. This exchange raised the need to work on gender equity from 2 clearly differentiated points: 1- The equality of men and women in the labor market as well as in the performance of professional skills and tasks within each professional family. 2- The eradication of labels, stereotypes and educational and cultural prejudices about gender identity and its "natural" role to play in society from birth, which negatively or positively reinforce all kinds of social agents close to our social environment common (family, schools, friends, social networks and media, advertising, etc..). This YE did not seek to generate confrontational extremist controversies, but to debate whether the path traveled so far is safe, balanced, real. It seeks to deepen individually and socially in the exchange participants through shock activities and methodologies to check if everything they think they know about gender and its supposed "balance" corresponds to the current reality and, if not, to analyze why. and reach conclusions that can be extrapolated to society to ensure that it is truly balanced socially, politically, family-wise and at work at the gender level. The objectives of this exchange were: - Discover and integrate the fact of difference as a value of personal enrichment. - Empower both women and men in an increase in job opportunity options, understanding the concept that equality fosters a broader, stronger, healthier and less competitive and exclusive labor market. - Develop attitudes of rejection towards discriminatory conduct. - Critically analyze the role of social and family agents that intervene in our education from birth and how they influence us in the survival of stereotyped behaviors and prejudices. -Participate and promote attitudes with collaborative approaches between men and women, thus creating a fairer society in line with a balanced and united Europe. - Contrast the effect of gender-differentiated socialization and assess its consequences. The objectives of this project are in accordance with those of the Erasmus + program by working on improving the level of skills and basic abilities of the young participants, promoting active citizenship, intercultural dialogue and social integration and, above all, promoting improvements in the quality of work through greater cooperation between men and women regardless of the natural role.
