Objectives

The main objective of this project was to address two main themes, with the aim of broadening the participants' knowledge and improving their skills in both areas. On the one hand, the topic of the environment was addressed, focusing on the aspect of the three Rs and the relationship between resources and waste. On the other hand, the field of video production was explored. Given the current importance of environmental learning, the aim was to raise awareness and provide participants with a deeper understanding of current environmental issues, especially related to resource management. This included researching environmental conflicts in their region, analysing their causes and consequences, as well as assessing current and potential actions, both collectively and in the daily life of each individual or learning through the implementation of habits and visits. The main objective was to foster awareness and the ability to make a critical analysis of reality, from reflecting on individual habits to understanding global dynamics related to the environment. In terms of video production, in an increasingly visual and digital world, it was considered valuable to acquire basic skills in filming, including planning and handling the camera from both a technical and aesthetic perspective. These skills were seen as beneficial both personally and, potentially, professionally. The aim was to offer simple and accessible concepts to a group with no prior knowledge, with the intention of transmitting a passion for filming through practice and some theoretical foundations. Given the limited time and context, they were not expected to acquire in-depth knowledge, but rather to develop a continuous interest in the subject. In the second part of the mobility, after addressing both topics independently, sessions were held combining elements from both fields, culminating in the creation of videos by each group. Various format options were offered, such as short films, video clips, mockumentaries or advertisements, with the condition of including environmental elements. In addition to these specific objectives, general cross-cutting goals were established, all of which are highly relevant: - To know and understand the local environment and culture. - To facilitate cultural exchange. - To foster the creation of human and interpersonal ties, as well as self-knowledge. - Promote language learning. - Develop soft skills, such as the ability to speak in public, coexistence and adaptation to other people, time management, leadership and teamwork skills, time management, optimisation, among others.
