We planned to support young people to use technology in a professional way in their work and bring young people from different countries together to get enough knowledge about new technological development in their countries, supporting their technological entrepreneurship skills, sharing the different useful apps with each other, how those can create a positive effect in our societies, discuss about how European youth can improve their skills in order to competitive with young people from other parts such as India, China, etc. and creating social media tools to increase awareness about this issue. In another hand, we believed that ‘blaming’ new technologies might cause children and young people to have less interest in information and communication technologies (ICT) and it might also cause big problems in the future. We wanted to implement our project by using of non-formal educational methods and activities to achieve the following specific objectives: - To learn/discuss different definitions of addiction and increase awareness on what is conscious technology using and what is not, - To develop critical thinking regarding the information this phenomenon and to understand how ICTs can affect positively on young people/children in our societies and support their technological entrepreneurship skills, - To increase the understanding of positive use of social media and technology, and how it affects people of all races, ethnicity, religions, and gender; - To raise positive awareness of human rights, tolerance, active participation, and its value for youth through cultural dialog between youngsters from six different countries; - To identify and share similarities and differences in practices used in different countries in terms of using of technology, - To promote active participation of young people by ICTs, - To develop a critical approach towards ICTs’ messages based on their own experiences, skills, beliefs, and values, - To develop their skills in creating media content and creating videos to prevent unconsciously using technology, - To offer the opportunity to meet partner groups and develop concrete ideas for future projects focusing on cultural diversity and active participation, - To support young people to increase their knowledge about the new Erasmus + Programme in order to develop new projects in the future; - To create professional videos and use social media very actively in order to reach as many as people possible for the outcomes of our project and for the visibility of the Erasmus + Programme.
