The GLOCALLY project proposed a change in educational practices for outdoor ecological education that promotes and facilitates appreciation of "sense of place" and understanding of ecosystem services and functions. Experiencing nature while learning in an informal educational context is a necessary step in developing a respectful awareness of the environment and its protection. The main objective of the project implemented through eco-workshops and non-formal learning methods was to recognise the key role of young people and youth workers in implementing the necessary changes in rural areas of Andalusia, and create a more sustainable lifestyle in their communities, but also to have an impact on the wider community.
