This project was initially conceived with the fundamental purpose of enhancing the quality and impact of the intervention provided by professionals dedicated to working with young people at risk of social exclusion. Drawing from positive past experiences derived from European exchanges of best practices among professionals, we identified the opportunity to effectively address the challenges both entities faced in their daily work with young people. Among these challenges was the maintenance of concentration and motivation in the studies of the youth, as well as the exploration of new and effective intervention tools or methodologies. In this context, the project emerged as a strategic means not only to enhance the capabilities of the involved professionals but also to foster effective solutions to the complexities inherent in socio-educational work with young people at risk of social exclusion, specifically those aforementioned. In retrospect, the first objective (O1) of the project significantly succeeded in fostering the professional development of participants linked to the socio-educational team. The experience of acquainting themselves with a new intervention methodology through immersion in the hosting entity was successful, providing participants with a practical and direct understanding of innovative approaches that they could incorporate into their daily practices. Visits to projects aimed at young people at risk of social exclusion contributed to a deeper understanding of best practices in the field. Furthermore, the exchange of best practices with professionals in the socio-educational field, both from the hosting entity and other contexts, enriched the participants' perspectives and stimulated the adoption of effective approaches. Ultimately, this objective achieved its goal of equipping participants with new skills and approaches that were effectively applied in their daily work. Similarly, the second objective (O2) of enhancing technical skills and personal abilities was a past success. The exchange of experiences with professionals from other entities resulted in significant enrichment, allowing participants to learn from successful practices in diverse contexts. Visits to projects of hosting entities provided valuable opportunities to observe and learn new techniques that could be incorporated into their daily work. The dissemination of acquired knowledge within the originating teams improved the quality of intervention, facilitating collaboration and the effective implementation of learned strategies. The application of innovative elements in working with young people at risk of social exclusion resulted in a more creative and adaptive approach. The third objective (O3) of generating motivation for the European context among participants was successfully achieved. In fact, the idea of mobilizing the young people with whom we work in our entities emerged. The contribution to the development of a European perspective in the youth work field was an achievement, as participants engaged in projects beyond their borders, broadening their vision and enriching their practices. Finally, the foundations for future partnerships between partner entities were solidly established, and connections with other European organizations were consolidated. International collaboration not only strengthened the relationship between the involved entities but also contributed to the continuous strengthening of the European network in the socio-educational field. This objective was not limited to the confines of the current project but laid the groundwork for future collaborations and sustainable knowledge exchange. This addresses the last objective intended to be achieved with this mobility.
