With the project "YO(UTH) PARTICIP(ACTION)" we have wanted to provide youth workers with a set of tools to encourage the participation of young people in their local communities. In a constantly changing world with a young population in constant evolution, promoting youth participation is one of the biggest challenges for professionals (youth workers, educators, teachers, etc.) working with this group. Thus, the objectives of this project have been the following: 1. To identify and reflect on the motivational and participatory problems faced by young people in their local communities, in order to understand how to intervene in their environment and their reality. 2. To know the different levels of participation that young people go through to create resources according to each of them. 3. To exchange experiences, good practices and tools to build participatory processes with groups of young people from different European countries to actively involve them in their local communities. 4. To create a guide of tools and techniques to promote, work on and implement participatory actions according to the different levels of youth participation. 5. To create a network of partnerships to develop future projects in collaboration with young people in our communities, using the guide created as a tool to promote youth participation.
