The project starts in the context of youth in 7 European countries meeting to discuss their observations on consequences Coronavirus has brought in their communities and how it affects the youth. The youth has noticed that all decisions that their national crisis headquarters are making are not in collusion with the youth. Youth also noticed that unemployment of youth is rising due to the Coronavirus crisis and EU and national decision makers do not bring sufficient measures for solving the problem of unemployment. Therefore, they started the google group and organized several Zoom meetings to brainstorm the ideas how they can affect the problem. They also made the situation analysis which showed that in August 2020, the youth unemployment rate was 17.6% in the EU and 18.1% in the euro area, up from 17.4% and 17.8% respectively in the previous month. Compared with July 2020, youth unemployment increased by 64 000 in the EU and by 69 000 in the euro area. Also according to the European Commission, the whole European Union is subject to extremely high risk and uncertainty due to the epidemiological situation. According to autumn forecasts, the euro zone economy is expected to fall 7.8 percent this year and grow 4.2 percent next year and 3 percent in 2022. At the Union-wide level, the economy should fall 7.4 percent this year and grow 4.1 percent next year and three percent in 2022.
