We wanted to develop our students' language and cultural skills, tolerance and inclusion.
The number of immigrant students in Lieto high school has increased in recent years, and they have also expressed that they encountered racism in high school and that it was difficult to integrate and make friends with native Finnish students. On the other hand, the number of students' language choices has decreased considerably in the last 10 years. The project mainly aimed to influence these two issues.
