Successful courses result in the teachers' increased occupational wellbeing and coping mechanisms, and therefore are reflected in how the students enjoy being at school. The number of sick leave days will decline and job satisfaction will grow. The sharing of newly learned approaches and methods among our staff members reinforces positive school culture and sense of community, and benefits also those teachers who didn't have the strength to enrol on a course themselves. Thus, even those who didn't take part in a course will have support in preventing exclusion and strengthening inclusion. Widening the European network and making use of it in the future becomes easier via the contacts made during the courses. The teachers will be able to view their work more comprehensively as they have the opportunity to hear the experiences and thoughts of their European counterparts during the courses.
It's essential to develop our work community into a more cohesive and positive one. As part of the shift in school culture, a result of vast staff changes, we want to offer interested teachers the chance to educate themselves and optimise their teaching and coping with work through the courses they applied to. The recent massive increase in teachers' workload has created a real demand to learn new methods of coping with and balancing the relationship between work and free time. Because of our school's learner profiles, preventing exclusion and strengthening inclusion are matters that we must work on even more. We will have to patch up the marks of the pandemic in our youth and their educational paths for a long time to come. The use of ICT in teaching has picked up good pace in our school. We wish to fortify this and introduce new interactive methods. The courses provide a tangible opportunity for European cooperation, which will bring new insights to all aspects of our project.
