During the project period Tampere University planned to sent out altogether 265 students and staff members abroad within the Erasmus+ programme. Of these planned mobilities we were granted 200 student mobility periods for studies, 30 student mobility periods for traineeships, 15 staff mobility periods for teaching and 20 staff mobility periods for training. Tampere University were also granted organisational support for 3 blended intensive programmes. Main objective of the project was to implement the values of the Erasmus Charter to all mobilities and also to implement the priorities of the Erasmus+ programme. * Tampere University’s objective was also not only to increase the mobility of teachers as well as the mobility of students in all cycles and all types, including exchange studies and traineeship but also to make these mobility periods of higher quality. * The goal is to make credits gained during exchange period an integral part of the students’ degree. As for all staff mobility the goal was to deepen international knowhow, resulting in exchangeable course content planning, implementation and projects as well as improve pedagogical and intercultural skills.
