Åbo Akademi University wants to offer all of its students and personnel the possibility to take part and assimilate in international experiences and to welcome students and staff from our partner universities. The Erasmus cooperation between higher education institutions has developed a long-standing cooperation. Most of the relationships have lasted for a very long time and the cooperation today is built on a solid foundation. The bilateral agreements are appropriate for both incoming and outgoing students, researchers, teachers and staff and seek to achieve a reciprocal and balanced exchange over time. * The goal is to provide the students with the necessary knowledge, competence and adaptability to work actively in different national and cultural environments with a global responsibility and provide them with the capacity to meet the global labour market. Knowledge in languages and a strong linguistic identity are an important part of the education. *
