Erasmus+ Programme is at the core of and a major instrument for the internationalisation of the University of Oulu. Funding from the Erasmus+ Programme enables us to offer mobility opportunities for both students and staff and contributes to the overall goals for internationalisation at the University of Oulu. By participating in the programme, we want to encourage, increase and financially support student and staff mobility within Europe and, therefore, contribute to our overall mission and international action plan. Our aim is to provide skills and knowledge to students for working life and provide an international experience to our staff members and offer opportunities for benchmarking and professional development. Further participation in the Erasmus+ Programme will enable us to increase the number of mobilities as well as offer opportunities for students and staff with fewer opportunities. Blended short term mobilities and make participation in the programme more inclusive and accessible.Succes is also measured in the funds allocated to UOULU for mobility projects. The goal is to increase the volume of all mobilities by 10% half way through the programme period.
