Objectives

Karelia considers Erasmus+ mobility to be an excellent way to support students and staff in gaining international experience and perspectives, widening their academic networks, and sharing expertise. We aimed to send at least 59 participants (43 students and 16 staff members) for different types of Erasmus+ mobility periods and to implement 3 blended intensive programs at Karelia. Likewise, we aimed to welcome at least the same number of students and staff from partner institutions for studies, training, or teaching and to contribute to several blended intensive programs coordinated by our partner institutions. * * At Karelia, the Erasmus+ mobility projects are important for internationalizing students and staff, sustaining and developing European partnerships, and developing and maintaining quality education. Initiatives and ideas for broader development projects are often discussed during the staff mobility activities, and thus the mobility projects can lead to other cooperation projects adding to the quality and relevance of European higher education.
