As internationalisation and international cooperation are highly valued at Jamk University of Applied Sciences, the Erasmus+ programme offers invaluable opportunities to support it. With the help of the KA1 mobility projects, we want to keep offering our students, staff and interest groups chances to internationalise and develop themselves both professionally and personally. Indeed, one of the most important goals is to improve the international competence of both our students and staff, other goals include e.g. promoting internationalization and ensuring quality within internationalization in education. Within the Erasmus+ mobility projects we can support students’ studying and practical training abroad and staff members’ teaching and training purposes abroad, and offer a chance to both personal and professional growth. In addition to gaining personal benefits, such as making new connections and networks all around the globe, improving linguistic and inter-cultural skills, gaining confidence and field-specific skills etc., the participation of our students and staff in this project also supports the internationalization of the whole institution and its operational environment. The Erasmus+ projects are vital in this regard.
