Nuorisovaihto: The goal for this youth exchange was to discover different aspects of equality through non-formal learning. This youth exchange was planned by the young participants with the support of their adult team leaders. All participating countries were present at the online Advanced Planning Visit (APV) in November 2021. In the APV we finalized the program and agreed on how to work together before and during the youth exchange. The aim of Youth 4 Equality youth exchange was to provide young people from different countries a chance to explore and discuss equality related issues both in their respective home countries and on a local, national and European level. Our young people recognized the inequalities in our societies and wanted to raise awareness and gain new tools and skills in how to tackle these issues. The objectives were to organize an intercultural exchange between young people from different backgrounds as well as to give a deeper understanding in equality related issues. Through this youth exchange we wanted to foster equality and tolerance among young people. Additionally, the project wanted to raise awareness of Erasmus+ program and European Union values and promote youth mobility in the framework of Erasmus+ KA1 programs. Partnership Building Activity (PBA): The aim of the project was that by participating to our PBA the participants would have gained knowledge and information about the participating organizations. They will also have explored the importance and possibilities of involving their target group in planning of projects and youth exchanges from the beginning to the implementation and evaluation. That is why the most important thing during this PBA was to create a safe space for the participants to truly get to know each other and the organizations represented as well as to discuss and explore the importance of youth participation. After taking part in this PBA the organizations will have made new connections and found new partners to start planning projects under the Erasmus+ KA1 program. Participants will also have gained knowledge how to further involve their target group in all the stages of their activities and projects. The objectives of the PBA were to develop and strengthen cooperation between different organizations in Europe that directly work with youngsters between the age of 13-20. Getting to know the participants on a deeper level to strengthen the future co-operation between the professionals and sharing knowledge and skills regarding youth work and youth engagement was also one of the objectives. Lastly, promoting youth participation as a key element when designing a European and international project especially Youth Exchanges under Erasmus+ program was one of the key objectives of the PBA.
