The project aimed to enhance digital education by providing teachers and educators with practical tools and resources to integrate technology into their teaching. Key objectives included developing a sustainable model of digital education, improving educators' competencies, and producing high-quality outputs such as the MOOC Do It Yourself, an eBook on best practices, and scientific articles. These outputs were designed to support lifelong learning, promote collaboration among educators, and ensure the adoption of innovative and inclusive teaching practices.
The Do It Yourself project was initiated to address the pressing need for improving digital readiness among educators, a challenge highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many schools lacked adequate tools, resources, and competencies to transition to digital learning effectively. The project aimed to empower educators in developing innovative teaching methods, equipping them with digital tools, and fostering inclusive practices. It also sought to address disparities in digital education across rural and urban areas, providing equal opportunities for all stakeholders to benefit from technological advancements.
